This site would be extremely useful for all levels of writers. It has links for online dictionaries, publications, and much more. This site is very easy to navigate. It is very clear and easy to read and understand as well. I like this site because of the ease of it. One feature that I thought was really nice too was the link for manuscript formating guides. The link gave formating examples for not only poetry but short stories and novels. This site is a wealth of information.

This site has loads of information regarding contests and news updates. There several links to free poetry contests. At the bottom of the site there are links for poetry resources. This site would be useful for finding contests to get your poetry out there. The contests have cash prizes which I thought was interesting. This site is easy to navigate and is clearly presented.

This is an online literary magazine in RealAudio. This site contains readings of poetry, information about authors, a bookstore, and information about upcoming events. This would be a great information site for writers. This would be a great way to keep up with what is going on in the literary world. I like that it is in RealAudio. I have enjoyed the sites that have audio. I especially like when the authors are reading their own poetry or are telling about their poetry. I think it helps me better understand their work.

I will have to check out the formating for poetry guidlines. I think the audio poetry is a valuable tool for students and instructors. Personally, I need to see the words and hear the tone that should be applied at particular moments to get just the beginning jest of things.
I found the first link a little difficult to read...the light gray text on the white background doesn't help. But it does have some great links, notably "the top then mistakes that writers make."
Winningwriters seems like a good site for making some money. I'm usually a little reluctant to pay for listings of contests; with a little hunting they can be found elsewhere online. But since this site seems reputable, I guess you are less likely to get scammed here.
I too appreciate that The Cortland Review is using technology to bring out the quality of sound in poetry.
