This is the Library of Congress site on poetry. It has great links and information on poets, poems, and teacher resources on how to better integrate poetry into the classroom. This site is full of news and helpful information. This site is easy to navigate.

Wow, what doesn’t this site have? You can research poets and poems for days. This site is chalk full of information. You can also post your poetry here for others to read.

ISLMC Poetry for Children
This site is a teaching tool for children of all ages. It has links to teach children about the different forms of poetry. It has links for all grade levels.

This site is full of links for different online libraries, poet’s websites, and poetry society websites. This is great for a broad exposure to poetry and different eras of poets.

This site is a great resource for teachers. It has booklists and two different poetry building tools for children. One of the poetry builders uses art work for inspiration. I think this site is really neat.

This site holds tons and tons of poetry information for children. It is colorful and easy to navigate. It has information on poets, different poetry forms, and poems on just about every topic to read.

This site is good for young aspiring poets. It gives them information on poetry and gives them a link to publish their work. This site has many links for information and interviews with poets.

The site is great for young children. It has tons of hilarious poetry. This site is great for a laugh or for inspiration. It has daily poetry and poetry lessons that you can read. I loved this site.

This is a site where you can publish your poetry and get feedback from people online. It has poetry classes where you can learn more about poetry. There is a search engine where you can look up specific poets or poetry. I think this site could be very helpful.

This site is full of links to websites about poetry. Some of the links are poetry societies, specific poet’s websites, and learning websites. This site has a variety of links to good information.

I too loved the library of congress site. I really enjoyed reading some of the poetry written by the presidents and the added touch of seeing it in thier own handwriting was nice as well. I have added to my list of links to give students doing research.
